Program Structure & Courses

You'll enroll in 1 language course that meets for a total of 80 contact hours/6 credits. You may earn 6 credits (up to 80 contact hours). Classes meet for 5 hours per day, Monday-Thursday.

You'll be automatically registered in your language course. On your first day of class, you'll take a language placement exam to determine final placement. You will be enrolled into your course based on the results of the placement exam. To ensure that you receive credit for the language level you place into, have your home university pre-approve courses at several levels before you leave for Spain. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines.
