Program Structure & Courses

You will enroll in 1 core course and 1-3 courses at the CEA CAPA Seville Center. You also have the option to add up to 2 courses at Pablo de Olavide University (UPO). Courses meet for 45 contact hours/3 credits. You will earn a total of 12-15 credits (up to 225 contact hours.)

Classes generally meet 2 times per week, Monday-Thursday, while active-learning components required by your courses may be scheduled for Fridays. Students should expect a larger scheduling and financial commitment due to the commute to the UPO campus. In addition, students are required to be flexible as course availability is subject to change. Please plan to discuss this further with an Admission Counselor or your assigned Student Advisor upon submitting your application.

Prior to departure you will select your preferred courses and take a language placement exam.  You will be enrolled into courses based on their availability, so early enrollment is advised.  It is in your best interest to have multiple alternatives approved by your home university prior to your departure due to course availability.  Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines.
