Students will select 1 core track and 1 elective track. Each track is worth 3 credits and contains two modules that comprise the grade for the track selected. Core track includes topics in international business, entrepreneurship, innovation, and law. Elective tracks focus on topics such as intercultural communication, Spanish language, innovation, geopolitics, and more. In addition, students will participate in an integrated Communication & Leadership workshop that complements the program.
Each track meets for 50 contact hours/3 credits. Students will earn up to 6 credits (up to 100 contact hours) during the course of the program. Core track meets in the morning and elective track meets in early afternoon, Monday-Friday. Active learning components required by your courses may be scheduled during the afternoon and/or early evening.
Prior to departure, you will select your preferred tracks. You will be enrolled into tracks based on their availability. It is in your best interest to have multiple tracks approved by your home university prior to departure. If you choose to take the Spanish language track, you will be required to take an online language placement exam prior to departure. To ensure that you receive credit for the language level you place into, pre-approval of courses at several levels before you leave for Spain by your home university is highly recommended. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university regarding credit pre-approval guidelines.
