The East Asian Studies Program offers courses for students at beginning and intermediate Chinese language levels, and is designed for students who are committed to learning about this politically vital and economically significant region of the world. Learn about China’s past and present while experiencing the excitement of life in Shanghai, where the traditional and the modern are (literally) carved into the landscape. This program's curriculum links the classroom with the community, helping you make meaningful connections and building the foundation for a life-long engagement with (and enjoyment of) all things Chinese.
