
Spend a summer immersed in Czech culture, attending class at the CEA Prague Center or at Anglo-American University (AAU). All courses are taught in English, and a diverse selection of topics and disciplines allows you to find courses aligned with your academic interests. Many courses incorporate experiential learning activities that enhance your Prague experience. Choose a 6- or 9-week session; students in 6-week sessions enroll in 1-2 courses, while students in 9-week sessions enroll in 2-3 courses. The 9-week session is divided into two parts: You'll select 1 course offered in an intensive 3-week period at AAU and 1-2 courses offered either at the CEA Prague Center or AAU over the course of 6-weeks. CEA courses meet for 45 contact hrs/3 credits, AAU courses meet for 42 contact hours/3 credits.
If you choose a 6-week session, you may earn 3-6 credits (up to 90 contact hours); if you choose a 9-week session, you may earn 6-9 credits (up to 150 contact hours).
Classes meet at various times, Monday-Friday. Active learning components required by your courses may be scheduled for Fridays.The host institution has offered the following courses in the past. Please note that course listings will not be finalized until the start of the term.

Get out and explore! Excursions are offered for most semester, year, and summer programs. Semester students are typically offered between two to three excursions and summer study students are typically offered between one to two excursions. You'll receive a calendar of excursions during orientation; here are a few day and overnight excursions we've offered in the past.
From housing to excursions, our programs include a variety of inclusions to enhance your study abroad experience! Here are examples that may be available in Prague. Inclusions vary by program – please contact our Enrollment and Advising team to find out what options are available for you.
