
This program is ideal for students who wish to immerse into Spanish language and culture and take most courses in Spanish. Designed for students at the high intermediate and above Spanish language level, this program allows you to improve your Spanish proficiency through academic immersion while exploring local culture. You'll attend class with other international students from North America at the University of Seville (USS); advanced Spanish speakers may enroll in a class with host national students. Most classes are taught in Spanish; you may take an elective course taught in English. In addition, you can gain hands-on experience and give back to your host community through an optional service learning course.

Get out and explore! Excursions are offered for most semester, year, and summer programs. Semester students are typically offered between two to three excursions and summer study students are typically offered between one to two excursions. You'll receive a calendar of excursions during orientation; here are a few day and overnight excursions we've offered in the past.
From housing to excursions, our programs include a variety of inclusions to enhance your study abroad experience! Here are examples that may be available in Seville. Inclusions vary by program – please contact our Enrollment and Advising team to find out what options are available for you.
