This module introduces students to the knowledge, skills and techniques needed to be a specialist writer/reporter
and looks more generally at the role of specialist journalism in the modern media. It is designed to allow students to
build on the core journalistic skills developed in the Level 4 modules ‘News, Features, Comment’ and ‘Digital First’
and the Level 5 module ‘Pitch, Produce, Publish’ and to develop the more specific techniques required for different
