DESCRIPTION

This is the 3rd year Software Engineering course for the Bachelors degree in Computer Science & Information Technology.

Learning Outcomes
1.Describe and use agile methods for project planning and execution.
2.Describe and use popular agile methodologies such as Scrum and eXtreme Programming.
3.Work productively as part of an agile software development team.
4.Analyse and interpret complex system requirements and use appropriate estimation techniques.
5.Design and develop a complex software system using an Enterprise framework such as JEE - from initial concept through to detailed specifications and working code.
6.Present and defend their work and project decisions to a professional audience.
7.Implement and use an appropriate software development, build, test and delivery environment.
8.Describe and apply Continuous Integration and Test techniques.
