Financial Management in Hospitality Tourism & Hospitality Management Program Spring 2023 Semester Plus Internship - Barcelona

The financial function is one of the basic functions in business management. Based on the information provided by accounting, a financial director must be able to analyze the financial situation of the company and establish the necessary measures for the smooth running of the company.
This subject wants to enable students to make financial decisions, that is, to be able to evaluate the suitability of certain investments before making them, and to make the most convenient decisions to obtain financial resources at the right time, in the necessary volume and at an acceptable cost to the organization.
Additionally, the purpose of the subject is for students to be able to identify the necessary tools to evaluate the most appropriate investment and financial operations, understand the main methods of financial planning that allow for the optimization of financial resources. Students will also learn how to make reports and identify trends and patterns from the results obtained in order to help in decision-making processes.
