DESCRIPTION
From ancient concepts of storytelling, evidence of Roman performance in the City of London to religious plays in northern cities, Marlowe and Shakespeare on Bankside, Restoration, Melodrama, Musicals, the West End and Modernity. A re-imagined version of Theatre in the City with added areas of interest for the actor and theatre maker, but still attractive to the non-specialist.
