DESCRIPTION
The aim of this course is to investigate the relationship between music and science. The focus of this course is on therapeutic applications and how they can be applied and analyzed. Students will be encouraged to think critically and to participate in small group and full class discussions based upon readings, presentations and inquiries brought to class. Discussions on relevant topics will address the interplay among music, healing, mind, and society at large.
