DESCRIPTION
Functions, derivatives and antiderivatives are introduced, studied, and used as tools for modeling in various areas. A particular emphasis is given to optimization problems. Systems of linear equations are studied and applied in the course. Linear optimization problems with constraints in two variables are introduced. The aim of this course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and be able to use mathematical models in business, economics, life and physical science, social sciences, and other areas of general interest.
