DESCRIPTION
The module aims to provide students with the necessary tools to analyse both historical and current texts in terms of
the lexical and morphosyntactic features they exhibit. Texts are analyzed as products of discourse; that is, examples
of language that are situated in, and takes significance from, particular times and places, and are constructed with
particular purposes.
