DESCRIPTION

The International Internship Course created between CEA CAPA and the Centro de Lenguas Modernas, part of the University of Granada, provides a unique and innovative opportunity for students to engage in an internship abroad for academic credit. Through its academic content, the course frames and supports learning that occurs at the internship placement and students' personal and professional development that align with the 8 competencies set out by the National Association of College and Employers (NACE).

With this experience abroad, students will be able to develop their intercultural and professional skills while growing in their sector in one of our Granada-based companies ranging from education to data analysis. To grow academically and professionally while abroad, students also participate in seminars, workshops, and one-on-one meetings to make the best out of the experience. The course consists of:
- 45 hours of unpaid internship at a local organization
- 6 hours of group internship seminars on intercultural communication and the Spanish business world
- Final paper on their experience at work
- 2 individual meetings with the internship course professor to discuss the paper
- 1 individual meeting with CEA CAPA onsite coordinator to assess student's progress and experience at their placement
