DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to provide advanced instruction and supervised practice in translation from English into French and from French into English. During the course, students will be working with texts of moderate to high difficulty. Several text typologies will be entertained: different extracts from novels, short stories, poems, newspaper articles in both languages. Another part of the course will focus on the daily use of the French language.
