Students will be encouraged to explore and experiment with fashion imagery; incorporating historical, social and conceptual aspects. In the studio and on location students will manipulate light to create the image mood, practicing a range of lighting techniques, experimenting with reflectors, soft boxes and grids, light-control devices and beauty dishes.
Throughout the semester classes will be supported by lectures held by professional fashion photographers, collaborations with Fashion Ateliers, visits to the Gucci Museum, Ferragamo Museum and Galleria del Costume at Palazzo Pitti.
