DESCRIPTION
This intensive three-week, three-credit course is designed for students who wish to learn about the global wine industry and for those who are considering a career in wine. The course covers the fundamentals of viticulture and enology, famous French regions including wine styles, grapes, climate, and culture. The course incorporates the business of wine including marketing, branding, and consumer behavior as well as an introduction to professional tasting techniques.
