DESCRIPTION

Effective Human Resources Management is necessary to gain true competitive advantage in the marketplace. Today companies face several challenges such as: sustainability, technology, and globalization. This Course will attempt to bring these challenges to life by highlighting real-world examples pertaining to these issues and relating them to the theoretical concepts. Students will be provided with the technical background needed to be a knowledgeable consumer of human resource products and services, to manage HR effectively, or to be a successful HR professional. Above all, the Course will emphasize how managers can more effectively acquire, develop, compensate, and manage the internal and external environment that relates to the management of human resources. Much attention will be given to the strategic use of HR Management and its evolvement across borders and cultures.
