DESCRIPTION

This course explores how law operates across borders, blending global legal issues with the host country's unique perspectives, institutions, and case studies. Designed for pre-law and law students from diverse academic backgrounds, it introduces learners to pressing transnational legal challenges while deepening their understanding of how those challenges are addressed domestically. Learners will engage with contemporary debates in areas such as human rights, immigration, criminal justice, and the regulation of emerging technologies, using the host country's legal culture as both a comparative framework and a point of analysis.
