DESCRIPTION
This course focuses on developing students' oral and written skills in business and trade transactions. Emphasis is placed on Spanish business terminology and other technical vocabulary commonly used in commercial correspondence such as business letters, job descriptions, and marketing and advertising promotions. Students will also explore cultural differences that influence the way business is conducted in Spain. This course will provide students with the practical skills necessary to interact in the Spanish-speaking business world. Please note, this is a one month course offered multiple times throughout the year. Students can take it in conjunction with other consecutive sections or by itself.
Course is consisted of two 20 contact hours modules and 5 contact hours of independent work for a total of 45 contact hours and 3 US credits.
