DESCRIPTION
La formación en literatura inglesa dentro del Grado en Estudios Ingleses se ha organizado en orden cronológico inverso. Es por ello que la Literatura Inglesa Medieval ha sido programada para el semestre final del Grado. La asignatura se propone familiarizar a los estudiantes con las obras literarias principales del primer milenio de la literatura inglesa medieval (es. VI-XVI). Por su antigüedad, la dificultad lingüística requerirá que algunos textos los estudiemos en traducción al inglés contemporáneo, aunque habrá exposición directa a las obras tanto en inglés medieval como en su formato manuscrito o incunable original.
