DESCRIPTION
This course will examine the cultural roots of Western civilization in the Antiquity and how the principle set of ideas and social, economic, and social values formed and developed. Studets will use historic, cultural and artistic testimonies still visible in present-day Andalusia to explore these roots. Several fieldtrips to places of historic interest and archoelogical importance will be a key part of the course.
