Catalan Language and Culture Interdisciplinary Studies Program Fall 2022 Semester - Barcelona

This course is designed for students who have a basic knowledge of Spanish . Through this course they will be introduced in the Catalan language and culture , through the communication component , in order to facilitate the learning of Catalan in an initial level to achieve minimum competency that can allow basic communication and the acquisition of basis to move forward in learning Catalan if desired . In addition there will be a review of the traditional festivals of Catalonia to be held in the period of the course and peculiarities of Catalan society be presented in relation to each of the topics.
