DESCRIPTION
Throughout the course of this module, students will learn to use both present and past verb tenses to discuss everyday situations and events. Emphasis will be placed on past tense narration and temporal indicators. Reading comprehension is another integral part of this course. Students will learn to understand basic communication (letters, personal notes, announcements, advisories, etc.) and identify essential information from larger and more complete texts (guides, web pages, pamphlets, newspapers, etc.) Students will write notes, personal letters, descriptions, and brief narratives, as well as complete registration forms and other official documents. Students will learn the appropriate structures for making comparisions, expressing ideas, opinions and feelings, and giving advice and instructions.
