DESCRIPTION
This course is designed for the elementary students. By taking this course, students? comprehensive skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing will be promoted. Especially, students? basic ability to communicate using Chinese will be promoted. A variety of topics will be covered in this course, like rent, internet, diet and weather, which may help students understand more about Chinese culture and society while learning the language. Preview work, handouts,listening and reading materials will be used in class from time to time. Related tasks will be given both in and out of class to create opportunities for students to think in Chinese and speak in Chinese.
