DESCRIPTION

Biochemistry II is a compulsory subject in order to complete a Biology degree. Once the biomolecules involved in biological processes have been studied, the student is ready to examine how they form, how they interact and how the said interaction is regulated. These analyses make use of physical-chemical principles acquired during previous terms. Understanding metabolism and how it relates to different development conditions is essential in order to understand life.

Course will consist of 60hrs of in class work and 90 hrs of independent work outside the classroom.
