DESCRIPTION
Law is a versatile and dynamic module and covers many aspects that businesses deal with. Every country has its own laws. This English language track of the law course offers an introduction into law relevant for doing business. The focus will be on Dutch law and law of the European Union. Foreign law examples are offered to show the similarities or peculiarities of legal systems. The topics to be addressed are: constitutional structures, legislative process, judicial systems, principles of law and human rights. The fields of law that will be covered are private law - including contract law - Intellectual property law, labour law and Data protection.
Entrepreneurship is the focal point of this course: its is all about the laws that companies may come across in their activities.
