DESCRIPTION
This course offers a comprehensive overview of the basic algorithms that are used in programming. It places the importance of algorithms in history and their importance in programming. Due to the increases in data, efficiency of algorithms has become more important and the concept of asymptotic and space complexity are introduced and applied to the different algorithms. The course introduces the types of algorithms, basic concepts, data structures, sorting algorithms, linked lists and circular linked lists, Stack & Queue algorithms, Searching techniques, Graph and Tree data structures and Recursions. The course introduces the programming basics in combination with building projects using the Arduino system. Important: This course is conducted as a Seminar based course and there will only be sessions on odd weeks.
