DESCRIPTION
This course focuses on the experiences of cultural and socio-economic differences within areas of the Greater Sydney region. It exposes students to social science methodologies to investigate inequality, diversity, community, sense of place, and environmental sustainability in the urban setting. There is an emphasis on spatial literacy in both the coursework and assignments (fieldwork, mapping, data analysis and place description).
