French 115 - Phonetics for Beginners (1) Students will expand their vocabulary by learning how to write and pronounce words correctly. Language labs will give them the opportunity to practice saying the words and to utilize words learned in sentences. There is also an emphasis on rhythm and intonation of spoken French.
Ce cours s'adresse aux étudiants de niveau "débutant" à A1 en langue française. Il est obligatoire et sera un complément indispensable des cours de langue. Ce cours sensibilise les étudiants aux différents sons du français (vocaliques et consonantiques) et introduit les symboles de l'Alphabet phonétique international. Seront également abordés certains problèmes de graphie-phonie que pose le français.
