DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this course is to introduce students in the marketing area, applied mainly to tourism. The marketing process involves analyzing the environment, market opportunities, setting marketing objectives, selecting a target market strategy, developing the marketing mix (product, place, promotion, price), implementing the marketing strategy, and evaluating the final results. A marketing-oriented organization focuses on satisfying customer wants and needs while meeting organizational objectives.
