Fundamentals of data communication networks. Network architectures. Systems and technologies for data communications: performance and standards. Techniques, protocols and devices for transmitting data. Local area networks and access networks. Wireless Networks. Networking and routing. Internet. This course does not require to attend previous courses.

Course will consist of 60hrs of in class work and 90 hrs of independent work outside the classroom.

Course includes computer practicals.
