ATHENS, GREECE

PARNIKA CHOCKALINGHAM
Parnika (she/her) is a biological sciences major at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, with a passion for healthcare, leadership, and community engagement. As a CEA CAPA Content Creator completing the Atlantis pre-health shadowing program this summer, she is excited to share her experiences and encourage other students to explore opportunities for global learning. This is her second time going abroad, and she has also been an Alumni Ambassador for two years after previously studying abroad with CEA CAPA in Costa Rica. Parnika looks forward to immersing herself in a new culture, connecting with local communities, and gaining a deeper understanding of healthcare with an international perspective. Outside of academics she likes photography, trying new things, and concerts. Follow along to learn more about her experiences abroad!
BARCELONA, SPAIN

SIENNA PETTY
Sienna (she/her) is a marketing major at the University of Utah studying abroad in Barcelona and creating content for CEA CAPA this summer. She is passionate about content creation, social media, and sharing fun, lifestyle-driven moments, from travel and fitness to everyday life with friends. Sienna is excited to experience a new culture, step outside of her comfort zone, and document her time abroad. Outside of class, she looks forward to exploring new cities, trying different foods, and making the most of every opportunity to travel.
FLORENCE, ITALY

OLIVIA SMOLTZ
Olivia is a junior at the University of Utah studying accounting. She is originally from Seattle, Washington, and loves to travel and try new things. She is passionate about content creation and making memories and can’t wait to share her experiences abroad in Florence this summer!
GALWAY, IRELAND

MACY POLASEK
Macy Polasek is a wildlife biology and natural resource management student at Grand Valley State University in Michigan. She is studying abroad this summer in Galway, Ireland in hopes of expanding her understanding of international conservation efforts, ecology, and global environmental issues.
LONDON, ENGLAND

ALANA ARCILLA
Alana (she/her) is a finance and management information systems double-major with a minor in international business at Villanova University. She will be completing an internship and classes while creating content during her time studying abroad in London this summer. Alana previously studied abroad for a semester in the Asia Pacific region, so she is excited to explore Europe for the first time, meeting new friends while immersing herself in the history and culture in the UK.
PARIS, FRANCE

STELLA SMITH
Stella is a marketing major at Anderson University in South Carolina and will be spending the summer as an intern in Paris. She chose to intern abroad as a way to learn more about French culture and international business. She is especially excited to explore the city, meet new people, and spend as much time reading in gardens & parks as possible!
PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC

HANNAH LETWINSKY
Hannah is a rising senior writing for film, TV, and emerging media major with minors in graphic design and media literacy at Ithaca College. This summer, she will be studying abroad and interning in Prague, Czech Republic, as well as creating content for CEA CAPA. She is looking forward to meeting new friends, seeing the sights of the city, and working in a new and different environment.
ROME, ITALY

JENNIFER ABRIL
Jennifer is a student majoring in medicine with an emphasis on integrative and practice-focused medicine and a minor in Spanish at the University of Arizona. She is going to be shadowing doctors through the Atlantis program in Rome, Italy, this summer and creating content for the CEA CAPA at the same time! She is excited to immerse herself in the lively culture of Rome alongside other pre-med students, but outside of the shadowing experience, she is excited to travel to other cities/countries and really make the most out of this time in Europe.
SAN JOSÉ, COSTA RICA

ARIANA RYSKOSKI
Ariana is a student-athlete at Winona State University pursuing degrees in both nursing and Spanish as well as competing as an NCAA track and field athlete. She chose to study abroad in Costa Rica because it has been a lifelong dream of hers since childhood, plus the program provides a unique opportunity to combine both of her academic passions through healthcare and language immersion. The summer program is also a perfect fit for her year-round athletic schedule, which allows her to study abroad while continuing her commitment to athletics.
SEVILLE, SPAIN
BREANNA LEE-KIDD
Breanna is originally from Chicago but recently moved to Sacramento. She is a third-year student attending Sacramento State University and is majoring in biology and minoring in chemistry. She wants to become a medical doctor in the future so by shadowing abroad in Seville this summer, she is looking forward to gaining more experience of what other healthcare systems are like. She is also excited to reunite with her friends and pursue a similar goal with them through this experience.
STIRLING, SCOTLAND

EMMA TOMPKINS
Emma (she/they) is a production technology major with minors in archaeology, cinema, and science communication at Radford University in Virginia. This summer, she is looking forward to blogging and photographing for CEA CAPA while studying in Stirling, Scotland. She hopes to step outside of her comfort zone and discover what makes Scotland special. Outside of classwork, Emma loves trying new foods, learning about other cultures, and exploring nature with her camera.

ARIANNA JONES
Arianna is a senior attending the University of Alabama. She is an advertising major with a minor in digital consumer engagement. She is participating in the Summer in Asia: Japan & South Korea program and will be creating content for CEA CAPA while abroad. Arianna is very grateful for this opportunity to learn, interact with various people, and grow in this experience.
TOKYO, JAPAN

EZRA CARTER
Ezra is an Information technology major and Japanese minor at Texas Tech University’s Rawls College of Business. His academic interests focus on corporate tech strategy, data management, and international business infrastructure. This summer he is studying in Tokyo, where he will be analyzing global market issues to learn how foreign enterprises deploy technology to solve operational challenges.
WASHINGTON, D.C.

KAELA SPENCE
Kaela is a law & policy major enrolled in the pre-law program at Liberty University's online campus. She will be completing the Lex Fellowship pre-law immersion program in Washington, D.C., this summer while creating content creation for CEA CAPA. While this isn't her first time traveling to the East Coast, Kaela is excited to spend this time in the nation’s capitol with the Lex Fellowship program! Kaela loves reading, crafting, Broadway, group fitness, all things Disney, and food! She is excited to get the experience of studying law in the nation's capital and cannot wait for all the experiences that will come with it!
