Introducing the Spring '23 FEA Scholars from CEA CAPA
CEA CAPA was honored to attend and sponsor the 2022 Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) Gala on Dec. 1, in Washington, D.C. FEA awards several types of scholarships to U.S. college students with financial need who are traditionally underrepresented in study abroad programs. As an FEA Access Partner, we are proud to support their mission through yearly study abroad scholarships.
This cycle, the FEA granted $285,000 in scholarships to 68 students; five of the 68 were awarded to CEA CAPA students. These recipients come from diverse backgrounds who represent various U.S. institutions across the country. Meet the scholars and join us in celebrating the following scholarship awardees for upcoming Spring ‘23 CEA CAPA study abroad programs!

In addition to this year’s CEA CAPA scholarship recipients, a total of 935 students, including students of color and first-generation college and community college students have benefited from $3 million in scholarships granted since FEA’s inception in 2010.
This year, 85% of awarded scholars identify as students of color: 38% Hispanic/Latinx, 16% Black/African American, 15% Asian/South Asian, 14% mixed race, and 1% identified as Middle Eastern or North African.
