An amazing way to expand your study abroad experience and gain valuable global skills is to take advantage of the internship abroad opportunities offered by CEA Seville. These semester-long placements are 120 hour commitments tailored to students’ professional goals, areas of study, and personalities. The placements are coupled with a seminar style component taught by professor David Troya, where students gain valuable skills to help navigate a foreign and multicultural workplace. The internship program has been at CEA Seville for a little over a year and several past students have been successful finding jobs and landing summer internships.

Clinica Santa Isabel

There are currently three students in the internship program at CEA Seville this semester, among them Phoebe Cohen: you can explore the internship opportunity at Clinica Santa Isabel with Phoebe in this video.

Working in a foreign country gives you the global skills necessary for today’s globalizing world; it shows adaptability and readiness and the ability to work in stressful situations. Interning abroad is choosing a more difficult path than most and it gives you a compelling résumé, which is vital in today’s job market.

Glamping Hub

One of the many internship placements in Seville, Glamping Hub is the world's leading online booking platform dedicated to unique accommodations in nature. Several students have been successful after internships here:

Keith Macaulay, a current senior at the University of South Carolina is graduating December 2017. His internship experience with Glamping Hub helped him a land a summer internship in Greenville, SC with Scansource, an international tech distribution company.

Tanner Ticknor, a current senior at the University of Oklahoma is double majoring in International Business and Supply Chain Management and will graduate in May 2017, has received two full-time offers for post graduation work at Bell Helicopter and Textron.

“My internship experience was magnificent and I would recommend anyone to accept the challenge and do it. I received many skills that I use on a daily basis and have yet to realize the other skills that I have not utilized. CEA and Glamping Hub (one of the internship options at CEA Seville) allowed me to increase my personal value and develop myself to be ready for whatever the world brings.“
