Marketing Internship Abroad: Sweet Success in Florence

Marisa Savage is a third-year marketing student with a graphic communications minor at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo studying abroad in Florence, Italy. She took on the responsibility of holding a marketing internship at Mama’s Bakery while she is abroad and has since improved her knowledge of Adobe software, built a portfolio for product photography, and immersed herself in the Italian culture. She encourages others to take the opportunity of interning abroad as well to help them better understand their future career pursuits and meet some amazing people!
