Life as a Florentine

After being in Florence for a semester, I have finally figured out how to feel like a local. I participated in a half marathon on December 8th in San Miniato, went to locations that only speak Italian, and ate at small local joints.

What would a Christmas market be without a tree?

I went to several different Christmas markets throughout Italy. My favorites have been the Florence Christmas market and the one in Verona Italy.

If you study abroad in Florence, defiantly try the Central Market upstairs for lunch and dinner! They offer several different stands with various foods. They have my favorite pizza and cannolis.

Marathon Motivation

Textiles

For my Fashion Marketing class, we got to go to a local textile shop and design and paint our own bags. I also attached a photograph of my friends and I at the Romeo and Juliet terrace. I hope you enjoy these places as much as I have.
