A beautiful thing about studying abroad is the ability to live like a local and become a "regular" at different places around the city. Of course in Paris, I try out new restaurants and places all of the time but there are a few that I find myself going back to over and over again.
The first is one of the boulangeries very close to my apartment called Secco. I buy baguettes there multiple times a week and this boulangerie produces absolutely delicious breads that are perfectly crispy on the outside but so soft in the middle. On this particular day, I picked up a Croque-Monsieur, which was quite yummy.
Another of my favorite places in Paris are the gardens and parks. I love going to so many different ones but on this particular day, I was in the Luxembourg Gardens. These gardens are amazing, especially in the Spring when there are flowers everywhere and the trees are full. It's a great place to enjoy your lunch, breathe some fresh air, or do some people watching!
Finally, my last favorite place to go is Mad Vintage store. I have found a new love of vintage shopping while here in Paris and this store is my favorite. It is very close to the CEA Paris center and it's nice to simply browse through when I have a free afternoon.
