Alright, today we venture into the realm of French baking with my wonderful host mom, Anne Marie! Enjoy this step by step video on how to make Quick Cake! Recipe is at the bottom.


Quick Cake

Serving: 6 people
Prep: 10 minutes
Cook time: 15-20 minutes at 350°F

cup granulated sugar
1 cup flour
5 oz. butter
3 eggs
½ tbs. baking soda
½ cup raisins
1 tsp. rum

Directions: Mix eggs and sugar until dissolved. Slowly incorporate softened butter. Sift in flour and baking soda a little bit at a time. Fold in raisins and rum. Pour batter into a greased and floured loaf pan. Bake at 350°F for 15-20 minutes. Let cool, serve and enjoy!
