Study at the CEA CAPA Sydney Center, centrally located in a bustling Haymarket neighborhood, and take courses in a wide variety of subject areas that encourage you to explore this diverse and vibrant city through in-classroom study and out-of-classroom experiences.

When in Sydney you can choose standard housing. Housing assignments are based on availability and confirmation date; we make every effort to match your housing requests, but we can't guarantee housing preferences.

Program Structure

You’ll enroll in 3–4 CEA CAPA courses. Courses meet for 45 contact hours each, and CEA CAPA recommends 3 U.S. semester credits for each course. You will have the opportunity to earn 9–12 semester credits for your time abroad. This is equivalent to approximately 13.5–18 quarter credit hours, which is a full-time course load for a quarter.

Courses typically meet Monday – Thursday.

Prior to departure, you will select your preferred courses. You will be enrolled into courses based on their availability. It is in your best interest to have multiple alternative courses approved by your home institution prior to your departure in case there are changes to course availability. Please consult with your academic advisor at your home university on credit pre-approval guidelines and semester to quarter credit conversions.
