Hone your international business knowledge in courses taken alongside local and other international students at our partner, Universidad Latinoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnología (ULACIT). The bustling capital city of San José forms an ideal backdrop in which to explore economics, finance, marketing, and management in a global context. This program is designed for students at all levels of Spanish language proficiency; courses are taught in English, but you have the option to take Spanish language courses as well as elective courses taught in Spanish. Prepare for a career in an increasingly internationalized global environment through courses that give equal weight to major business areas, providing a broad foundation of knowledge applicable to large and small organizations that serve both domestic and global markets.

Excursions

Get out and explore! Excursions are offered for most semester, year, and summer programs. Semester students are typically offered between two to three excursions and summer study students are typically offered between one to two excursions. You'll receive a calendar of excursions during orientation; here are a few day and overnight excursions we've offered in the past.

Arrival/Program Begins

Official Program Start Date. Students must arrive at the Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO) in San Jose on this date in order to be eligible for airport pickup. Students will then be transferred to their assigned housing.

Orientation

Mandatory ULACIT Orientation.

Classes Begin

Classes begin at ULACIT University.

January 29 - February 01
Excursion

CEA Excursion to Panamá. Includes: Transportation, lodging, breakfasts, dolphin tour, snorkeling, Star Fish beach tour, Red Frog beach tour, entrance to the National Park, bote, 1 lunch.
