Ethics & Sustainability

About the Program

How does modern society balance environmental preservation and ethics with competing forces like immigration, urbanization, and growth? By combining theoretical concepts and practical case studies, this program allows you to engage with topical global issues and gain insight into environmental and business ethics, interactions between human and ecological systems, consequences of urbanization, values of multi-ethnic and multi-cultural societies, and why people plant new roots in a different country. Enhance your understanding of lessons learned in the classroom with visits to entrepreneurs, refugee organizations, eco-sites, and local businesses, and take an Italian language course to facilitate your engagement with local culture.
