Prerequisites: The course prerequisites are the successful completion of Corporate Finance, Statistics and Accounting. It is critical that students fulfill these prerequisites before taking this class.
DESCRIPTION
This course is divided into two broad sections: the first section will examine the system of financial markets and instruments traded in these markets. The next section will detail the methods and tools of investment analysis used by financial analysts as well as introduce the techniques of portfolio selection and management, which are critical in determining the overall investment performance of one's portfolio.
This course cannot be completed concurrently with FIN351 Corporate Finance.
