DESCRIPTION

This technical course explores how the decisions of individuals and firms alter the types of goods that are produced: How companies decide what price to charge, why some are willing to pay more for a product than others. Through the use of graphical analysis, critical thinking, the usage of calculus and differential equations, this course builds upon a foundational understanding of microeconomics to discuss and apply microeconomic concepts to solve real life problems. We will address some real economic contexts, information asymmetry, decision making under uncertainty, and more, to demonstrate the relevance of micro theory to real-world issues.
