International Trade & Export Diagnosis International Business Program Fall 2018 Semester - Early Start - Paris

This course aims to provide a general understanding of international trade and, more specifically, knowledge of techniques used in export practice. It is composed of two parts. The first part part, entitled ?Export Diagnosis?, is a project conducted by the students and based on a real case. It makes the students more familiar with the conditions that SMEs have to meet in order to implement a successful export strategy. Working in small groups, students assess the feasibility and chance of success of several export projects submitted by existing SMEs. They build a business plan and develop recommendations based upon their own analysis of data collected from foreign markets, academic and professional sources.
