DESCRIPTION
Within the framework of the degree in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences (CAFD), this subject focuses on the functions and context of teaching action in the field of the physical-sports educator. The profile of this subject allows advanced training in the field of teaching in CAFD, offering learning opportunities for professional teaching and research projection. To this end, the subject is based on a change of concept in the subject of Physical Education, modifying a traditional vision focused exclusively on the development of the corporeal, to a Holistic Physical Education capable of developing physical, social and cognitive attitudes that favour the sustainable development of the planet. In this sense, this subject aims to serve as a theoretical and practical link between the so-called Quality Physical Education proposed by UNESCO and COLEF, while responding to the call of the United Nations to seek educational strategies that promote the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
Course will consist of 60hrs of in class work and 90 hrs of independent work outside the classroom.
