DESCRIPTION

The course is an introduction to understanding system of a political and social pathology of Totalitarianism. An example of both Communism and Fascism are described by the mechanism, how to stay in power, artificial fear and permanent lying from the point of view of Psychology. Psychology is describing also human internal conflicts between pressures of the regime and tendency to remain honest. There are many pathological situations and human relations and also some universal fields, like at school, hospital, problem of army, with old people, social services, central planning, etc. There will be a description a lot of psychopathological tendencies, like bad socialization, being paranoid, anxiety, activations of wrong self-defending mechanisms, etc.
