DESCRIPTION
This is an introductory oceanography course that provides an overview of the basic geological, chemical, physical, and biological processes that occur in the worlds oceans. Students will learn how science and technology are important in curent oceanographic research. They should also develop a better understanding of the role that oceans play in the dynamic processes that shape the Earth and affect life on Earth.
