Here we are at our last week in Buenos Aires with CEA, as the Spring fades into Summer, and we all are having our final moments appreciating the coffee culture, the nightlife, the resto-bars, the artesian fairs on the streets, the tango on the plazas, the terrace at my homestay... The list goes on!

Coffee culture! |
I have made so many memories, so many connections with places and people, which I will never forget. My Spanish and my confidence in communicating have improved more than I could have imagined. I have overcome challenges in the way I experience this city. What previously used to overwhelm me I now know how to handle, and I have expanded my inner strength through these lessons. While the commotion of the city continues on around me, I have found elements of it to appreciate that I will miss. Taking a moment of rest on a park bench, watching all the people on the move, swerving around people and pigeons on the Ecobici bikes...

Ecobici! |
With all the walking, biking, bussing, and subway-ing I have done in my 4 months here, I have developed an impressive mental map of the city. I no longer get lost, nor get on the wrong subway. I have found my way. I have a connection now to this city that I will not lose.
