Traveling Through Europe: A Guide to Public Transportation

One of the things I worried the most about before going abroad was all the traveling I would be doing during my time here -- a different country every week. On top of that, I had never used public transportation prior to study abroad, and I knew I would need to take advantage of it overseas.

After mastering the Madrid Metro, I found it incredibly easy to use the public transportation of other cities as well. Now, no matter where I go, I always use public transportation. In this video, my friend and I traveled to Lisbon, Portugal, for the weekend. This video captures our journey from Madrid, to Lisbon, and back again. Although metros, subways and buses can seem daunting, it is nothing to fear — trust me, if I can do it, anyone can!
